    Oops... I Think My DIY Hobby Became a Business

    Have you ever started a project "just for fun" and suddenly found yourself way deeper than you intended? Well... that's exactly what happened to me. Somewhere between gardening, art, collecting charms, and dreaming up creative ideas, I accidentally started Made to Charm. To say I'm scared would be an understatement. Starting a business comes with risks. There are no guarantees that anyone will love what you create, buy what you're selling, or believe in your dream as much as you do. But there is something exciting about building something from scratch and seeing where it can take you. Beyond this adventure, I'm a wife, a full-time employee, gardener, artist, and a mom of four amazing kids ranging from college age to a busy two-year-old. Life is already wonderfully full, but I've always felt the need to create. I wanted an outlet for my creativity that was fun, meaningful, and inclusive. I wanted to help people create gifts that tell a story, something personal, memorable, and not just easily found on a store shelf. The kind of gift that makes someone smile because it was made just for them. And if this little idea helps pay a bill or two along the way? Well, I certainly wouldn't complain. So here I am, taking the leap, one charm, one keepsake, and one creative idea at a time. I don't know exactly where this journey will lead, but I'm excited you're here to follow along. Whether you're a fellow creator, a gift-giver, or someone cheering from the sidelines, welcome to Made to Charm. Let's see what happens when a DIY project gets a little out of hand.
